Creative Action’s Bridge program offers specialized programming for middle school students and is led by professional Teaching Artists. Through high-quality digital arts and performance projects, the program empowers youth to create positive social change.
Launching at the start of the 2019-20 school year, The Bridge, focuses on ages 11 – 14 to fill a critical gap in current out-of-school time services for middle school youth in Austin and serves as a hub for a diverse group of youth who will develop community building.
Connecting middle school students from across Austin, the program offers free digital media and arts-based classes in the early evening. Our East Austin location offers participating students access to a digital media lab, visual arts studio, and communal space equipped for individual and small-group projects
