Abbey McGrew is a data science leader at Apple specializing in cutting edge machine learning technologies designed to identify, track, and eliminate fraudulent attacks and optimize Apple’s global supply chain. As a team leader, what Abbey loves best about her job is the opportunity to help people grow their careers, explore new opportunities, and do the best work of their lives. Abbey was born and raised in New Orleans, but got her PhD in Biomedical Engineering way up in the frozen north at the University of Rochester. Today, Abbey lives in Austin, TX where she can keep it weird and enjoy a bit of the food, music, and art that made the Big Easy such a magical place to grow up. When she’s not working, Abbey loves to spend time enjoying the outdoors with her husband and their three kids hiking, biking, and boating in the beautiful Texas countryside.
