PIVOTING TO VIRTUAL PROGRAMMING FOR FALL 2020
Due to risks of COVID-19, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to cancel all in-person after school programming for the 2020 Fall semester. This was not a decision we made lightly, but the health and safety of the families we serve and our staff are—and always will be—our highest priority.
Yet, the creativity, confidence, compassion, and critical thinking skills we foster in youth are more essential now than ever, which is why we’re excited to launch CREATIVE ACTION TOGETHER—a virtual arts enrichment program for ages 5-11 that engages, educates, and connects youth through high-quality programming.
Our high-quality, onsite, licensed after school program engages students in visual art, filmmaking, music, puppetry, creative writing, acting, and more to deepen connections to lessons learned in the classroom, all while expanding the development of social and emotional skills. Students participate in hands-on activities led by professional teaching artists to create projects that improve the community and the world around them.
- After school runs every day of the AISD calendar from the end of the school day until 6 p.m.
- The cost for the 2020-21 school year is $260/month/child but we do offer financial aid for those that qualify
