Now Taking Applications!

The Studio camps at Creative Action are 2-week intensive educational experiences for teens ages 11-14 interested in taking their art skills to the next level while advancing their personal community-building skills and leadership potential. The program brings a diverse group of teens together from all across Austin and Central Texas to reflect on their world and experiences through their art.

Participants work alongside professional artists in a college environment where they get a hands-on experience with professional-grade equipment.

Studio Camp is an amazing atmosphere that embraces and encourages creativity and accepts everyone.”

Applicants choose one of three tracks:

Create, shoot, direct, and star in your own films using professional-quality technology. Program culminates in a red carpet premiere of your films for families and the community.

Visual Arts

Move beyond paper and pencil to create art across mediums, from printmaking to sculpture to digital media. Participants will fuel their own new wave of imaginative artmaking.

Music Production + Performance

Move, write, and compose within electronic and hip-hop genres. From rhyming to freestyling to beatmaking, combine elements of music production and theatre to tell your story.
