Whole-School Public Arts Installation
This is an opportunity for every member of the school community to participate in building something beautiful together. Creative Action supplies all materials and begins the installation which then is added to by each school member. A whole-school arts installation offers an opportunity for reflection around a specific prompt, and a chance to collaborate on an installation that has resonance and meaning with a particular school community. Typically installed in an outdoor location, this art project invites participation and witnessing from families and community members as well. Focus for the 2022-23 project will be announced in Fall 2022 and installed in Spring 2023.
Creative Action provides all supplies, campus communication templates, and lessons for teacher/staff guided implementation.
Price: $500 for elementary schools, $750 for Middle/High schools; discount provided when booked in combination with other Creative Action programs.

Wondering how to fund programming on your campus? While many schools access funds from the Creative Learning Initiative (CLI) through Austin ISD, we are also on the Texas Commission on the Arts Touring Roster. This means a school or partner organization can access up to 50% of the cost of our school-based programs. Please indicate your interest in exploring funding options when you fill out the interest form and we will work with you to explore options.
