Have fun and get creative during our After School program! Our licensed program runs every day of the AISD calendar from the end of the school day until 6:00 pm. During Creative Action After School, students participate in a variety of fun, arts-based creativity classes as well as receive homework help, outdoor play, and snack time.

With Creative Action After School you receive:
- Professional Teaching Artists who lead creativity classes that include visual art, filmmaking, music, movement, puppetry, creative writing, acting, and more!
- Creative Action After School “4C” student curriculum to develop Creative Artists, Courageous Allies, Critical Thinkers, and Confident Leaders.
- Monthly e-newsletters with photos and updates from the program.
- “Program sharings”–unique events where students share and celebrate their projects with family and friends.
Creative Action After School is currently available at the following elementary schools: Baranoff, Becker, Brentwood, Bryker Woods, Center for Creative Action (with transportation from Austin Peace Academy, Blackshear, Campbell, and UT Elementary), Gullett, Maplewood, Ridgetop, Sunset Valley, and Travis Heights. We’ve also added Blanton Elementary and Cunningham Elementary as new sites for the 2017-18 School Year. Have a 4- or 5-year-old in Pre-K?
We also provide Storybook Adventures, a program that runs 2:12 – 2:57pm (in-between Pre-K letting out and Creative Action After School, which starts at 2:57pm). Students explore reading, creative drama, movement and art around a daily storybook.
Storybook Adventures is offered at Becker, Cunningham, Gullett, Maplewood, Sunset Valley, and Travis Heights Elementary.
Program cost is $115/month/child.
