After Three Years Apart, It’s Time to Come Home
We’re hosting a Homecoming weekend to honor the vibrant tapestry that is our community and celebrate the arts through which our stories are weaved together.
Join us November 11th through 13th for an unforgettable weekend that includes the opening of Creative Action’s UpFront Gallery as part of Austin’s Studio Tour & Market, a bike tour of our murals throughout Austin—and the return of our beloved Community Art Sunday.
This is the time for coming together. We look forward to seeing you there!

What: There will be several memorable and engaging events taking place throughout the weekend. Each event and time is listed below under the schedule of events.

Schedule of events
The weekend will consist of the following events taking place over 3 days.
Austin Studio Tour at upfront gallery - November 12th-13th
Austin Studio Tour presents 'Home Sweet Home' will be on display at Creative Action's UpFront Gallery on November 12-13 and November 19-20. The gallery will be open from 12PM to 6PM. Join us on November 12th for Little Big Things—an art fair featuring works by local artists and craftspeople. Artwork will be available for purchase.
Creative Action Mural Bike tour - November 12th
*Limited to 25 riders
Ride and tour Creative Action's murals that were designed and created by Color Squad and Chroma Collective. Plan to meet at Creative Action and ride from 10AM until 12PM. At each stop youth from our programs will share info about the mural.
The ride, led by Ghisallo Cycling Initiative, will have an inclusive or "social pace," yet is recommended for riders who are confident riding in the street.
You must RSVP to attend.
*If you do not have a bike, one can be provided on a first come, first serve basis.
Community Art Sunday returns- November 13th
Our Community Art Sundays are back! Join us from 2PM until 5PM for this beloved arts celebration with free workshops, performances, live-music, and active learning experiences for all ages. We look forward to see you there!
