Unity in Chalk for CapMetro
At Creative Action, we have been thinking a lot about how to stay active and connected to our city while supporting our frontline heroes. Local essential workers are continuing to put their health at risk to sustain our communities.
In support of our community partner, CapMetro, we are organizing a community thank you card on our sidewalks to spread images and messages of hope and gratitude! Local artists and families have started creating chalk art around bus stops in their neighborhoods to show appreciation for bus operators as frontline workers.
We are so proud to partner with CapMetro, and are honored to recognize the heroic work they’re doing.
We invite you to admire the beautiful chalk messages others created, and we hope that you will submit your own artwork to add to this city-wide thank you! Here’s how:
- Go to your nearest bus stop (be sure to adhere to social distancing recommendations), and create a piece of chalk art in gratitude for our CapMetro workers.
- Snap a picture of your artwork, and share it on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Make sure to tag CapMetro and Creative Action, and use the hashtag #ChalklinesforFrontlines so that we can like and share your creation!
- Alternatively, please feel free to submit your work through the form below!
