Sightlines: NEA Awards $1.2 Million to Texas Arts Organizations

In its latest round of funding, the National Endowment for the Arts has awarded $1,215,000 to 53 Texas organizations.

Overall, the NEA made 1,187 grants totaling $27.3 million as part of its Art Works program, and its Challenge America program which makes $10,000 grants to small and mid-sized organizations for projects that extend the reach of the arts to populations that have limited access to the arts.
