Going back to school is a hectic time for many families. Re-establishing a schedule and getting into the grind can lend itself to stress. For the Fall 2020 semester, COVID-19 introduces a brand new set of obstacles to navigate.

Whether returning to school virtually or in-person, parents and educators have let their opinions and apprehensions be known. For students, however, it may be difficult to hone in on how they’re feeling right now and why. Help your child check-in with their emotions throughout the school week with these free Monday-Friday Emotion Check-In Coloring Pages.

Directions:

• Ask your kid about their school day, and encourage them to recount specific moments. Discuss the day’s events with guided questions to help them identify how they feel.

• Using the Emotion Color Guide on the bottom of each page, have your child pick out the feeling that best matches their own. With the corresponding star color, instruct them to color in the area(s) assigned to that day.
