Creative Action serves 20,000+ youth annually in seven area school districts. As the largest provider of creative learning programs in Central Texas area, we use the arts to activate the academic, social and emotional development of young people. We are hiring bilingual actors for our in-school Interactive Performance Residencies, which tour during the day to Pre-K through 7th grade classrooms in Central Texas. These highly-successful, multi-day, interactive programs use theatre and dialogue activities to activate social and emotional development, creative thinking, and problem solving skills. These programs serve more than 500 classrooms and reach 10,000 students each year.
Auditions begin May 21st, and training/rehearsal begins August 2018. This is a part-time position. Actors will typically work about 10-20 hours each week, usually 3 weeks per month.
After School Program Assistant (part-time)

Be part of a fun, active, arts-rich program in which youth develop their creativity, confidence and critical thinking skills. This is an outstanding opportunity for a college student interested in education, social work, human services or in the general youth development field, as well as the retired professional or childcare instructor. Program Assistants are an essential part of our After School program, and contribute to our vibrant and supportive program environment.
